May 17 – 20 Hangedman and Saucy Miso will be attending Kinetik 5, the premiere world class Industrial Electronic Music Festival in Montreal. Like many music afficiandos, Kinetik has become “THE” festival / convention to go to in North America for Industrial, EBM, and Noise related artists. This year features over 30 bands including headliners Combichrist, Haujobb, Panzer AG, Hoccico, Grendel and many more! There are also a number of supporting DJs from all over the world and a final day celebration in the form of the Hardcore VS. Industrial party!

Winding down an amazing little night in the heart of Toronto’s art ghetto.  Subterra Sessions features music from a different train track and features a core of underground electronic electro, break, techno, and IDM styles.  Hangedman’s set starts with a cool EBM inspired techno beat and evolves into a variety of down tempo pieces including IDM, Dubstep, and Ambient genres.

As we gear-up into festival season, fresh news out of good friend Onsen Designs!  If  you were at the amazing Kinetik 4 last year or just a huge fan of industrial music, then this one is for you!

The Kinetik Festival 4 Photo Book was recently released and it contains nearly 120 pages of images from every artist that played in the Kinetik Festival 4 last year. The photo book comes in either a beautiful and large 8×10″ landscape format or a smaller 7×7″ square format. Both book sizes contain exactly the same gorgeous full color full page photographs.
Quite a souvenir to relive the 5 days of last year’s festival, or to see what was missed (if one didn’t go).
This book will make a great coffee table photo book for any industrial music fan.

For many in the community the Augusta House is a fond night life fixture and it is with deep reflection that I share the news that many already know.  A week ago during our Subterra event, tragedy struck and Mr. Kim of the Augusta House passed away.  I know on behalf of the Subterra crew that we’re all deeply affected by his passing and our thoughts and condolences go out to the Augusta House family and the Kensington Market community who were his friends.

The Subterra crew along with other members of the community who did events at Augusta House are organizing a fund raising event with DJs and music to raise money for charity in Mr. Kim’s memory.  If you are interested in helping with this event please email me privately at Hangedman@gamingradio.net.  Currently we are seeking the following pro bono:

- venue space (preferably in Kensington)
- DJs
- VJs

Funeral and memorial arrangements have been scheduled for Mr. Kim the weekend of Friday the 13th.  If you would like more information about this, please email me privately at Hangedman@gamingradio.net.

February 2012′s edition of Neurodance was such an incredible vibe, from the amazing opening sequence of ISN Radio’s Edwin Somnambulist,  right to the end with Dreamstate Seven’s  mind blowing set, the music, the people and the energy was incredible.
